A wedding gift for a couple of friends.
This is the S.S. Universe Explorer docked in Cape Town, SA. The ship used to be the ocean-going home of the Semester At Sea program, and was affectionately known as the floating mattress. She's since been decomissioned, I believe - the new ship is blue, which is fairly blasphemous to those who sailed on the Great White Mother.

15 hrs, pastel and charcoal.
